Been thinking about this for a while now, and was all triggered by my daily commute driving me mad (pun intended) when i had a full time job before shifting to Freelancing.
A daily commute in Dubai’s rush hour took me an average of 1 hr each way due to traffic plus an average of 10 min wait for the office lift (funny but true). Multiply that by x2 as you eventually need to go back home which totals in
145 MIN/DAY, 725 MIN/WEEK, 2900 MIN/MONTH, 34800 MIN/YEAR
What a big waste of time!!
As a designer and not a writer i thought of taking the first step in visualizing and highlighting the problem through a poster.
I wasted 72.5 working days/year commuting between home and office
It turned out and after shifting to freelance that i am more productive in the mornings as i don’t go through the stressful commute phase. Plus i can use the wasted commute time for my own benefit.
